Eligibility Criteria

Associate Professor (Biomedical Engineering)

  • B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering with minimum marks (UR: 60%, OBC Backlog: 55%).
  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
  • At least 7 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list and a total score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018.
  • At least 2 research publications post-Ph.D. in Biomedical field in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals.
  • Specializations: Biomechanics, Biomaterials, Biosignal Processing.

Assistant Professor (Chemistry)

  • For SC (Tentatively Lien Vacancy):
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry with at least 50% in Master’s and 55% in two preceding examinations.
  • NET in Chemical Sciences (exempted if Ph.D. awarded as per UGC 2018 regulations).
  • Specialization: Physical Chemistry.
  • For EWS (Tentatively Lien Vacancy):
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry with at least 55% in Master’s and 60% in two preceding examinations.
  • NET in Chemical Sciences (exempted if Ph.D. awarded as per UGC 2018 regulations).
  • Specialization: Organic Chemistry.

Reservation Details

Reservation is applicable as per Government of India and UGC norms. The details are as follows:

  • Associate Professor: 01 UR, 01 OBC (Backlog)
  • Assistant Professor: 01 SC (Tentatively Lien Vacancy), 01 EWS (Tentatively Lien Vacancy)

PWD candidates with less than 40% relevant disability shall not be considered for any concession or relaxation.

Selection Process

  1. Applications will be scrutinized by a Scrutiny Committee.
  2. List of eligible and not-eligible candidates will be uploaded on the university website.
  3. Candidates found not-eligible may submit grievances with documentary evidence within stipulated time.
  4. Shortlisted candidates will be called for presentation/seminar/interview.
  5. Final merit will be prepared based on academic records, publications, experience, and Research Score as per University and UGC regulations.
  6. Candidates residing outside India will be interviewed through video conferencing upon prior request.
  7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview, except reimbursement of second-class railway fare to eligible SC/ST/PWD candidates as per rules.

Additional Terms and Conditions

  • The medium of instruction at CURAJ is English, and teachers are required to teach in English.
  • Candidates must submit separate applications for each position applied for.
  • Candidates employed in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector/Autonomous Institutions must apply through proper channel and produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
  • Suppression of factual information, fake documents, or misleading details shall lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, cancel recruitment, or relax eligibility norms as per UGC/GoI rules.
  • Legal jurisdiction in case of disputes: Rajasthan High Court Bench Jaipur only.
