Eligibility Criteria
Age (as on 15.09.2025)
- Above 45 years and below 65 years; candidate should be in sound health.
Educational Qualification & Computer Skills (Essential)
- Graduate in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University.
- Computer literate with basic proficiency in MS Office, Internet, and typing in the local language.
Experience & Preferred Profiles
- Preferred: Retired/VRS-opted bank officials of Scale-I and above from Nationalized Banks/SBI/RRBs.
- Ex-Servicemen/other non-bank employees (e.g., Government school teachers) with banking knowledge and relevant IIBF certification may also be considered.
- Desirable: Background in rural development (e.g., Agriculture Finance Officer, RDO, LDMs, training faculty, etc.).
- Experience: Unblemished service record with minimum 10 years’ experience as an officer/permanent employee; Service Certificate from previous employer required.
- Language: Excellent communication in the local language is essential.
- Residence: Should be a resident of the same state, preferably the same or nearby district (e.g., Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria).
Duties & Job Profile
- Work as Counselor, FLCC and oversee the overall functioning of the Financial Literacy Counseling Centre.
Leave Entitlement
- 15 days per year, with a maximum of 2 days per month.
