Educational Qualifications
- Head Constable (Radio Operator):
- 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 60% aggregate marks; OR
- 10th pass with 2-year ITI Certificate in trades such as Radio & Television, Electronics Engineering, COPA, Data Preparation & Computer Software, General Electronics Engineering, Data Entry Operator.
- Head Constable (Radio Mechanic):
- 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 60% aggregate marks; OR
- 10th pass with 2-year ITI Certificate in trades such as Electrician, Fitter, IT & Electronics System Maintenance, Communication Equipment Maintenance, Computer Hardware, Network Technician, Mechatronics, etc.

Selection Process
- First Phase: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Conducted through RFID. Includes height, chest, race, long jump, and high jump standards (as per gender).
- Second Phase: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 100 MCQs, 200 Marks
- Subjects: Physics (40), Chemistry (20), Mathematics (20), English & General Knowledge (20)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks: 38% for UR/OBC/EWS, 33% for SC/ST
- Third Phase
- Document Verification
- Dictation Test (50 marks) and Paragraph Reading Test (qualifying only) – for HC (RO) only
- Detailed & Review Medical Examination (DME/RME)
Final Merit: HC (RO) based on CBT + Dictation Test; HC (RM) based on CBT only.
