Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution approved by Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the local language (reading, writing, speaking) of the state/UT. Proof required via 10th or 12th mark sheet.
• Experience: Candidates with prior apprenticeship or job experience of one or more years after qualification are not eligible.
• Nationality: Indian citizens and certain categories from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (before 1962), and PIOs from specified countries as per Govt. of India rules.

Age Limit (as on 30.11.2025)

Reservation Details

PwBD Reservation: 4% horizontally (OH, VI, HI, ID categories). Reservation for EWS/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India rules. Candidates must present valid certificates in prescribed formats.

Application Fees

Payment Mode: Online only (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking). Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Merit-based shortlisting on state-wise 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma marks.
• Tie-breaking based on candidate’s age (older given preference).
• Document verification and medical fitness required before engagement.
• No written test or interview conducted.
• One-year waiting list will be maintained for unfilled or non-joined positions.

Application Process

1. Visit bankofmaharashtra.bank.in → Careers → Current Openings → “Engagement of Apprentices – Project 2025–26”.
2. Register with valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Upload scanned photo, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and documents (10th/12th/Degree marksheets).
4. Pay the required application fee online.
5. Submit and take a printout of the system-generated form for records. Do not send it to the bank.

Additional Requirement: After selection, candidates must register on https://nats.education.gov.in.

Other Important Information

• Training Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No hostel/transport facility during training.
• No employment guarantee after apprenticeship completion.
• All disputes under Pune jurisdiction only.
• Apprentices will receive Certificate of Proficiency after successful completion and passing the National Council test.

• Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License)
• All marksheets and degree certificates
