Application Process

Employment Type
- Type: Contractual
- Initial Contract Period: 36 months

Remuneration Details

Eligibility Criteria
For Retired Bank Employees
- Must be a retired officer (including voluntary retirement) of any PSU Bank up to the rank of Chief Manager
- Or, a retired clerk of Bank of Baroda having passed JAIIB with a good track record
- Must have a minimum of 3 years rural banking experience
- Maximum age for continuation: 65 years
For Other Candidates
- Minimum qualification: Graduate with computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet)
- Preferred qualification: M.Sc (IT) / BE (IT) / MCA / MBA
- Age at appointment: 21 to 45 years
- Maximum age for continuation: 65 years
Selection Process
- Selection through interview conducted by a committee headed by the Regional Head
- Due diligence, including verification of KYC, CIBIL Score, and other background checks
- Police verification will be conducted before final appointment
- Final approval by the Regional Head based on committee recommendations
Reporting and Performance Review
- The BC Coordinator will report to FI Coordinators at the Regional Offices
- Performance review by Deputy Regional Heads annually
- Further continuation or termination based on performance assessment
Termination Conditions
- Either party can terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice
- Immediate termination possible in case of misconduct or unsatisfactory behavior
- Fraudulent candidates will be blacklisted and the list circulated across zones/regions
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor a minimum of 35 BC agents (subject to increase)
- Ensure banking services in villages, Sub-Service Areas (SSAs), Non-SSAs, urban/metro areas
- Educate BCs about their roles and responsibilities
- Regularly visit BC locations and perform periodic inspections
- Must reside within the district, preferably near the Regional Office/Link branch
- Must be proficient in reading and writing in Hindi and English
- Knowledge of local language and dialect is mandatory
