Eligibility Criteria & Experience Required
Essential Qualification
The candidate should possess:
- • Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics / Microbiology / Molecular Biology or allied disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.
- • Minimum 2 years of post-Ph.D. research experience in a relevant field.
- • Strong hands-on experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) and/or third-generation/long-read sequencing.
- • Demonstrable experience in Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing, including library preparation, sequencing workflow, and data generation.
- • Strong working knowledge of bioinformatics and computational analysis of sequencing data.
Minimum Experience & Preferences
The candidate should have:
- • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- • At least 2 years of post-Ph.D. research experience in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbial Genomics, Bioinformatics or a closely related field.
- • Candidates with a strong publication record and demonstrated independent experience in Oxford Nanopore sequencing, Sanger Sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis will be preferred.
