- Three-year Graduate Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing) or Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university.
- Candidates should possess three years of post-qualification experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Neonatal Care
- Pediatric Care
- Public Health Research
- Related Field

- Postgraduate Degree in any of the above disciplines from a recognized university.

- Diploma in General Nursing or Midwifery.
- Registration with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
