Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Guest Teacher (Bio-Chemistry) for the academic session 2025–2026. Eligibility Criteria

Option A:

Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University.
The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or should hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their subsequent amendments.
Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if they meet the following conditions:
- The Ph.D. degree has been awarded in regular mode.
- The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners.
- An open Ph.D. viva voce has been conducted.
- The candidate has published at least two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work (at least one in a refereed journal).
- The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or a similar agency.

Option B:

Candidates having a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the Top 500 universities globally by any one of the following are also eligible:

Times Higher Education (THE)
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU - Shanghai Jiao Tong University)

Application Process

The application must be submitted only online through the AMU Careers Portal: https://careers.amuonline.ac.in.
A separate application form must be submitted for each post listed under different serial numbers in the advertisement.
A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid online through the portal.
Persons with Disability (PwD) are exempted from paying the fee, provided they upload a valid disability certificate in the prescribed format along with the application form.
After submitting the online application:
- Download and print the PDF copy of the form on A4 paper.
- Sign the form and paste a recent passport-size photograph.
- Attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents, including the receipt of processing fee (if applicable).
