Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released an official notification for engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2025–26 in the Northern Region. Eligible candidates domiciled in specified states can apply through the official apprenticeship portals.
Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise constituted by an Act of Parliament. It came into existence on 1st April 1995 after the merger of the National Airports Authority and the International Airports Authority of India. The organization is responsible for developing, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure in India including both ground and airspace operations.

Apprenticeship training will be conducted across multiple airports and establishments in the Northern Region including locations such as Adampur, Agra, Aligarh, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Bathinda, Bikaner, CATC, Chitrakoot, Dehradun, Farrukhabad, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kishangarh, Kullu, Kushinagar, Leh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Moradabad, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi and various offices located in New Delhi.

Monthly Stipend (Base Salary)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate or Diploma candidates must possess a full-time four-year degree or three-year diploma in engineering in relevant streams recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- ITI candidates must possess an ITI / NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant or Steno trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- Candidates who have passed their degree or diploma in or after the year 2022 are eligible to apply.

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- Age Calculation Date: 31 March 2026
- Upper age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Reservation Policy
Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories will be followed according to Government of India rules. In case suitable candidates are not available in reserved categories, the seats may be filled from other reserved categories or general category candidates.
Selection Process
- Provisional selection will be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of equal percentage of marks, the candidate’s date of birth and thereafter date of passing will be considered for determining seniority.
- CGPA will be converted into percentage as per the norms of the respective educational board or university.
- Eligible candidates will be called for document verification through registered email IDs.
- Candidates must produce original documents along with self-attested copies during verification.
- Final selection will be made after verification of documents and medical fitness examination.
- Candidates will receive an apprenticeship engagement letter after successful completion of all procedures.
Application Process
- Candidates must apply online through the apprenticeship portals.
- Graduate and Diploma apprentices must apply through the NATS portal.
- ITI trade apprentices must apply through the NAPS portal.
- Candidates must register themselves on the respective portal before applying.
- Search for establishment “Airports Authority of India – RHQ NR, New Delhi”.
- Click the Apply button to submit the application.
- After successful submission, a confirmation message will appear on the portal.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must apply only through NATS or NAPS portals.
- Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.
- No TA or DA will be provided for attending interviews or verification.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will be rejected.
- During apprenticeship training, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- AAI has no obligation to provide regular employment after completion of apprenticeship.
- The training program does not create any liability for employment in AAI.
- Management decision will be final regarding eligibility and selection.
- Medical fitness certificate must be produced at the time of joining.
- Providing false information may lead to cancellation of candidature.
