Base Salary and Pay Scale
Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – 1,40,000 (IDA)
Approximate Cost to Company (CTC): Around ₹13 lakhs per annum (including allowances and benefits such as DA, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical Benefits, etc.)
Pay Protection: Applicable for candidates joining through proper channel from other CPSEs/State PSUs/Government Departments as per DPE Guidelines.

Application Process
- Candidates must apply online only through the link available on www.aai.aero under the "Careers" tab.
- No other means or mode of submission of applications will be accepted.

- Documents required during the application process include: Educational qualification certificates, GATE score card, caste/disability/other category certificates, scanned passport-size photograph, scanned signature, and details for online fee payment.

No prior experience is required. Final year/semester students can apply, provided they produce their final results at the time of Application Verification.
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Maximum Age: 27 years as on 27 September 2025
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation of 3 years
- PwBD: Relaxation of 10 years (where applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers: Relaxation of 5 years
- AAI regular service employees (after probation): Relaxation of 10 years
Reservation Details
Vacancies are reserved for UR, EWS, OBC (NCL), SC, ST, and PwBD categories as per Government of India norms. Candidates must provide valid certificates issued during FY 2025–26. PwBD candidates must have a benchmark disability of at least 40%.
Application Fees
Fee: ₹300/- (to be paid online through SBI e-Pay Lite)
Exemptions: SC/ST, PwBD, Apprentices trained in AAI, and Female candidates
Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Duplicate payments, if any, will be refunded after the closing date of submission of applications.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on valid GATE 2023/2024/2025 scores (equal weightage to all years).
- Application Verification with original documents.
- Final merit list prepared based on GATE score.
- Tie-breaker criteria: Higher GATE score → Older age → Higher marks in qualifying degree.
- Junior Executive (Electronics) candidates must undergo 6 months training and execute a surety bond of ₹7 lakhs to serve AAI for a minimum of 3 years post-training.
Other Important Information
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Selected candidates may be posted or transferred anywhere in India.
- Service conditions will be as per the prevalent rules and regulations of AAI.
- Court jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
- English version of the advertisement will be considered final in case of discrepancies.
- Recruitment is subject to the approval of amendments in recruitment rules by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
