Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

Graduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing, Biochemistry, Psychology, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology or other allied health/social science disciplines.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in field-based data collection, particularly in community settings
• Familiarity with survey techniques and data collection tools
• Experience in collecting physiological data, especially blood pressure
• Use of electronic data collection methods (e.g., tablets, smartphones)
• Effective communication with community members
• Computer proficiency including MS Office
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse field conditions
• Preference for those with experience in PHC/CHC/hospital settings or health surveys

Job Description

The selected candidate will coordinate and implement the hypertension awareness study using HBPM devices. Responsibilities include training participants, data collection, maintaining records, conducting assessments, and supporting awareness sessions. Frequent travel and extended stays (~3 months per location) in Chamoli, Tehri, Haridwar, and Dehradun districts are mandatory.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Differently Abled candidates

Selection Process

Other Terms and Conditions

• Appointment is purely contractual for 1 year or till project duration
• Selected candidate must join within 5 days of result
• Not a permanent post and does not confer any right to regular employment
• Performance will be reviewed after 6 months
• Can be terminated at any time without notice based on performance
• One-month notice or salary in lieu required for resignation
• No allowances other than consolidated salary
• Incorrect or false information will disqualify the candidate
