Application Process

• No online application form is required.
• Candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview.
• Bring the duly filled and signed original application form along with one set of self-attested photocopies of degrees, certificates, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificate, PwBD certificate (if applicable), etc.
• All original documents must be produced for verification during the interview.
• Annexure-II (Proforma/Checklist) must be filled and submitted during document verification before the interview.
• Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions must produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the current employer at the time of interview.

Eligibility Criteria

1. A medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
3. A postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned specialty or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
4. Candidates must possess a valid qualification (pass certificate) as on the last date of application.

Special Department-wise Eligibility

Certain departments accept relevant qualifications in allied specialties. For example:

• Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology: MD in Medicine or equivalent.
• Burns & Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology: MS in General Surgery or equivalent.
• Neonatology: MD in Pediatrics or equivalent.
• Pulmonary Medicine: MD in Chest & TB or MD in Medicine.
• Endocrinology: MD in Medicine or Pediatrics.

For Non-Medical Candidates (specific departments)

• Anatomy: M.Sc./M. Biotech with Ph.D. in concerned subject.
• Biochemistry: M.Sc./M. Biotech with Ph.D. in concerned subject.
• Pharmacology: M.Sc./M. Biotech with Ph.D. in concerned subject.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years as on the crucial date.
• Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate only will be accepted.
• No age relaxation for unreserved category candidates applying for UR posts.
• Permissible relaxation as per Government of India rules for reserved categories with valid proof.

Reservation Details

• Reservation for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS as per Central Government rules.
• 4% of total posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for non-surgical jobs.
• PwBD categories include OA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, SLD, and MD.
• OBC certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2025 and should indicate non-creamy layer status.
• EWS certificate must be based on FY 2024–2025 income and issued on or after 01.04.2025.

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview will be held at Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
• Candidates must report before 10:30 AM on 12 November 2025.
• No online interview facility available.
• Document verification will be conducted before the interview.
• Final selection will be based on interview performance and eligibility verification.

Terms & Conditions

• Age, qualifications, and experience will be counted on the last date of application.
• Only candidates who completed their qualifying degree on or before the crucial date are eligible.
• Possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee selection.
• Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
• Private practice is strictly prohibited.
• Candidates may be required to work in shifts and posted anywhere in the Institute.
• Leave and other benefits will be as per Government of India rules.
• Appointment governed under Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme.
• Termination by either side with one-month notice or salary in lieu.
• No TA/DA will be provided for interview or joining.
• All disputes subject to Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh jurisdiction.
