The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is a statutory body established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985. APEDA is engaged in the development and promotion of exports of agricultural and processed food products from India.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for filling up the following posts under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.

Salary and Allowances

Assistant General Manager (IT): Pay Level 10 (₹ 56,100 – ₹ 1,77,500) plus usual allowances such as DA, HRA, and TA as per Government of India rules.
Assistant Manager (Agriculture) and Assistant Manager: Pay Level 6 (₹ 35,400 – ₹ 1,12,400) plus applicable government allowances.
Approximate In-Hand Salary:
- Assistant Manager (Level 6): ₹ 4.2 – ₹ 13.4 lakh per annum (approx., including allowances)
- Assistant General Manager (Level 10): Starting from ₹ 56,100/month + DA + HRA + TA

Application Process

Applications must be submitted online only through the link provided on the APEDA website.
Candidates must upload scanned copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, photograph, and payment proof.
Photograph should be a recent colour passport size photo (JPEG format, 20–50 KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) showing a clear front face without spectacles or cap.
Applications without payment of fee or incomplete forms will be summarily rejected.
Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

Selection Process

For Assistant General Manager (IT)

Selection will consist of a written test (100 marks, 3 hours) followed by interview (40 marks).
Qualifying Marks: 60% in written test and 60% in interview.
Negative Marking: 25% deduction for each wrong answer in objective questions.
